BAQA Certified Studio Standard
The BAQA Certified Studio Standard is an online document and evidence review for tattoo, piercing, PMU, microblading, tattoo removal, SMP, training and related body art studios.
It helps studios show that they have practical systems for hygiene, infection control, client safety, staff safety, documentation, risk management and professional service delivery.
How It Works
- Create or log in to your BAQA account.
- Make sure your studio has an active BAQA Registered Studio membership.
- Pay the BAQA Certified Studio Standard application fee.
- Upload your studio evidence for BAQA review.
- If approved, your certification is valid for 12 months.

Important: BAQA certification is an industry-specific review against the BAQA Certified Studio Standard. It is not ISO certification and does not replace local laws, municipal health requirements, licences, insurance requirements or official inspections.
