About BAQA Membership Validation
BAQA’s primary focus is the improvement of the body art industry and the building of public confidence in professional standards across tattooing, piercing, permanent makeup, and related disciplines.
All official BAQA members are entitled to use the BAQA logo and display their membership certificates at their premises, as well as include them in marketing materials, provided their membership is current and valid.
To prevent fraudulent use, misrepresentation, or the display of expired or invalid certificates, BAQA has developed a secure membership and qualification validation system.
This validation code is incorporated into all official BAQA certificates and those issued by registered and approved training establishments.
By scanning the QR code, members of the public, health inspectors, and industry professionals can instantly verify whether a membership or qualification is genuine and currently valid.
What to Do if You Suspect Fraud
If you believe a certificate, qualification, or membership is being misrepresented, we encourage you to take the following steps:
