Place approved sharps containers close to use and replace them before overfilling. Separate clinical or infectious waste from general waste, store it securely and use an authorised collector where required. Keep clean linen and sterile supplies protected; contain used linen; remove delivery cardboard from clean areas; and record pest prevention and sightings.
