BAQA guidance supports good practice; it is not a substitute for the law, licensing, health, tax, consumer, employment, privacy or insurance requirements that apply where you operate.

How local requirements fit with BAQA
Members and providers must identify the rules that apply to their location and exact service. Mandatory local requirements take priority if they differ from a BAQA standard. BAQA does not claim to be a government regulator and does not grant a legal right to practise.
Terminology and evidence
A public BAQA validation page confirms only the BAQA record and status shown. “International” describes BAQA’s cross-border audience, not universal government recognition.
